Note: This information is in case you have issues after setting up Family sharing.
Problems with family sharing on the iPhone are typically caused by settings in Family Sharing (see below), duplicate Apple ID’s (a different ID for iCloud and the App store), or a new credit card that has not been updated with the App store.
Below are screen shots of the settings for both the organizer’s phone (the person who bought the app) and the adult (the person sharing the app). Screen shots are from an iPhone 12. Your phone may look different, but setting information should be the same.
THE ORGANIZERS PHONE (STEPS 1–7):
STEP 1: Go to Settings on the organizer’s phone (person who bought the app) and tap on “Family.”

STEP 2: Click on the name of the organizer (#1 ME). You’ll tap on the other name in step 7.
